Normally, I won’t answer my PC when I’m laboring, but my dad wasn’t feeling well when I left for work.
He had been having some issues with his heart, plus I was concerned about him.
I made a mental note to answer the PC whenever it rang, in case dad needed me. I was laboring on the second air conditioning repair for the day when the PC rang. I didn’t even look at the caller ID, but answered instantly. I had barely said hello when I heard my wifey’s voice. She was irritated about something, plus I was her target for the day. She was screaming at me even before I got the hello out. I tried to tell her that I was laboring plus was tied up with an AC unit, but she ignored me. She asked if my job was more crucial than she was, plus I had to say yeah! Without my job, she wouldn’t want to be with me. If she wanted me to take her out, I had to do my job. If I wasn’t doing my job, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier would fire me, plus she would leave me, however by this time she was crying plus saying I didn’t adore her anymore. It was right about then that the homeowner came out to ask how things were going. I hung up on her to talk to the homeowner about my findings with the air conditioning unit. I tried to call her back before pulling out of the driveway, but she didn’t answer. I felt relieved when I thought she may split up with me after this.
