I laughed when I saw our child trying to change the air filter in the a/c unit! I knew our fiance had shown him how to change the air filter, despite the fact that I had a feeling she wasn’t paying attention, however she was staring at the air filter prefer it was going to talk to him and give him guidelines on how to install it.
- I had changed the air filter, and it wasn’t that difficult, but our child was making it seem seriously difficult, the air filter simply needed put in the same way she took the old one out.
I walked outside to see if there was something I could help him with. She was turning the air filter around and flipping it back and forth. I walked over to him and looked into the A/C unit. I whispered in her ear that it would be easier if she were to take the old air filter out before trying to put the up-to-date one in. I explained that when she took the old air filter out, she should make sure she locationd the up-to-date air filter in the same way. I pulled the air filter out and held it so our child could match the up-to-date one to it, but once she put the up-to-date one in and had the compartment closed, she grinned! For the first time in years, I was the recipient of that grin. She thanked me for helping him out and asked if I was going to tell her dad how she was fumbling? I told him it was our secret. Five hours later, she came inside and asked how I knew what to do?
