I had always planned that once I was finished toiling inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of the corporate office, I’d retire down south.

I’m from the midwest and so I was respected with winter. My partner wasn’t so lucky. She was from the south and all the air conditioner that comes with that. All of us met in university as I jumped at the possibility to go to university in the sunshine. I got hooked quick on all that great weather and Heating and Air Conditioning cooling that comes with residing in the south. But once it was clear that my work was to be made with the first business I joined, every one of us resituated to the north. That was difficult on my partner. She hated the winters however was willing to deal with them as every one of us raised our family. I made sure that she was able to get to the sun of the south a couple of times each Winter time and she lived for that. So as I approached the end of the line inside the zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning of the corporate offices, she was making plans. And those plans were all about moving to the south and enjoying the sort of weather that she had missed for 30 plus years. Once I retired, my partner already had it all planned out. All of us replaced the Heating and Air Conditioning device in our family lake home and sold it for a bundle. Now, every one of us are in a smaller, 2 dining room home that has a great important sunroom. That sunroom also comes with a ductless heat pump so every one of us can appreciate all this sun no matter the season.
