Sometimes I just have to laugh at our roommate. He means severely well and he is trying legitimately difficult to learn how to “adult” savor the rest of us. But at the end of the morning, he is lacking a few steps behind. It was severely clear that this was the case when every one of us moved into our new home and started having problems with the indoor air pollen levels and air temperature control. It turns out, our home does not have the greatest central a/c. In fact, the AC unit will not make the indoor air any cooler than 77 degrees. For a bunch of Northerners living in the South, this moderate indoor air was really not working for us. Every one of us decided to get some AC window units so that every one of us could sleep better in our warm and humid family rooms. My roommate went out to the store and bought a brand new, supposedly powerful window AC unit. He spent over $250 for this wi-fi controllable a/c that entirely does not produce much cool air whatsoever. Meanwhile, I found a used window AC unit online and spent $60. When I installed our small cooling unit, I instantly realized that the a/c unit was more effective than his. Within a matter of minutes, our room is ice cold when I operate our window AC unit. I actually get too cold at evening and respectfully have to turn the cooling system off! Not only is the AC unit legitimately small and powerful, however it costs a lot less to operate. I haven’t rubbed it in his face, however our approaches to this air quality problem obviously had multiple legitimately odd outcomes. Sometimes less is more.
