All I wanted was a matching table and chairs.

When I bought my first home, I had many family members who were giving me furniture.

I didn’t mind taking my time to get all the furniture wanted, so I was grateful to have what my family offered.

I was actually quite pleased with many pieces of custom furniture that I had been given, but no one gave me a dining room set. I thought I would go to discount stores, or even the Goodwill store, to look for a matching table and chair set for my dining room, but no one had them. I could buy wooden tables, but they seldom had more than two chairs to match. If I found four or six matching wood chairs, they didn’t have a table. I started thinking that if I had a wood table and six wood chairs, it really didn’t matter if they matched. The only thing that really mattered was that they were a wooden table and chairs. I felt two lovely Capt. chairs with scrolled wood, and brown velvet seats.. At the deck shop, I found an antique wooden dining table whose color matched my chairs perfectly. On my way home, I stopped at a yard sale that has four dining chairs. The wood was the same color as the table of my other two chairs, and I knew I had to take it home with me. I didn’t have the matching table and chairs I had hoped for, but I had a beautiful wood dining set that all came together perfectly. I took my wood table and wood chairs home with me, eager for my first dinner party.
