My cats are all tired out now from a day of playing around and I am on the sofa doing a little relaxing before going to the beach.
I have my climate control system keeping us all cool while we dream about clouds and better days.
I miss playing music with my bandmate as he is now away on vacation but he will return in a month and we will start again. I went to the local business yesterday to get some guitar strings and saw this cajon drum for sale that I just had to buy. Now I have two drums, two guitars, and a lot of time to learn them all. I am more of a drummer at heart but I am going to push myself to learn the guitar as well. It’s too hot out right now to be out on the beach so I am chilling out with my air conditioner keeping me cool while I think about where I am headed in my life. I want to be a musician who plays in local clubs with my bandmate so I need to really focus on practicing and it will come to fruition. My bandmate is an HVAC tech who I met while working at the HVAC company a few years ago. We became good friends and now we both play together when we can, usually on the streets as most of the clubs are closed during the week. A lot of them are on holiday for the summer, but there are a few local businesses that are open and want us to play there as well.
