When my husband and I got married, neither of us expected to have eight children.
I was hoping to have a big family, although I was thinking of maybe having 5 kids at the most.
Our third pregnancy turned out to be a set of triplets and the next pregnancy was basically the same! The two of us ended up with a lot of little ones that were nearly the same age, but when the kids were younger, it was a lot of difficulty to take care of them and make sure they were all ecstatic, safe, and fed. My mother and my mother-in-law helped quite a bit when the kids were younger. All of the kids are teenagers now, and they can take care of themselves for a couple of hours every so often. My husband and I went to the shopping center for groceries and every one of us had lunch while every one of us were out and about too. The two of us chose to go to a nice Italian restaurant with the finest pizza and breadsticks. When my husband and I came back to the dwelling from the restaurant, we found some damage in the dwelling. The thermostat in the hallway was entirely damaged. It had been crushed and broken into many pieces. It looked like the thermostat had been hit with a baseball or something else that was equally destructive. I asked all of the little ones how the thermostat became broken, however none of them would tell me what really happened. Each of the kids had a version of the story, however none of the kids would actually admit to ruining the thermostat. I still don’t know precisely how the appliance was broken.
