Figuring out where to go now

I have never been one of those people who knew exactly what I wanted to do from a young age, and so many of my friends knew immediately that they wanted to be dentists, teachers, lawyers, etc.

and I was always stuck on what to do after high school! In one of our elective classes at college, we took a work aptitude test that asks questions about your personality and interests to see what work would be a good fit for you. I took the test and one of the works that came up for me is heating and air conditioning serviceman. I read more about what heating and air conditioning servicemens do and I was immediately excited about a future in the heating and air conditioning field. I have always been good with our hands, I like to help others, and I have some family members who have worked in the heating and air conditioning field. I was surprised that I had never thought of working as a heating and air conditioning serviceman before. Once I had an idea of what I wanted to do, I had to figure out exactly where to go next. I felt confused and a little bit helpless. I started doing some research and found out that in our state, I would need to go to college for 15 months full time to become a certified heating and air conditioning serviceman, and this truthfully did not sound too terrible because I could still live at house with our parents while I went to college to save money. My next step is to apply for college, then to complete my training to become a heating and air conditioning serviceman. I am blissful I figured out what I wanted to do with our life.
