Within the past month or so I have noticed that my beach house is feeling much cooler than usual.
Now the thing is with me is that I’ve consistently had a naturally cool home, I enjoy the air conditioning in my beach house to be more on the cool side.
However, this was too chilly even for me and I knew that there was something going on and so I decided to look around the house. I would notice that when I would be sitting in bizarre rooms, unique ly in my kitchen, that I would assume a chilly draft and I knew it wasn’t from the air conditioning component because the air vent wasn’t anywhere near my bed. This means there had to be a draft somewhere so I started checking around all the windows to see if I could identify where the chilly air was coming from. It did not take me too long to find the source of the draft, the draft was from the window and the ceiling around the window has become worn and undone. Having drafts in your house is not good because if left unchecked, because you’re HVAC to labor harder and therefore that would cost you more and energy costs. Thankfully I did not have to schedule a heating and cooling appointment for something enjoy this, I already think exactly how to service it. I went to the hardware store and picked up some more sealers and got to labor sealing up the gaps. No more chilly spots for me.
