When our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C biz needed a booster shot, I turned to Facebook advertising.
I had a wide circle of friends on Facebook & I figured I could get several or four shoppers out of all the people that followed me. I put up an advertisement & told everyone that our company was growing & I was looking for customers to grow with me. I left that ad up well over 2 weeks, however nothing happened. I was told I should advertise on social media, & that was just what I did. I could not understand why after several weeks, I hadn’t had anyone contact me about the ad or our comments; All I got was a comment from our sibling Jo that I had spelled a word wrong. I was devastated & still facing serious consequences if the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company didn’t start getting more customers. Jo, The same sibling who chided me on our spelling called me the next day. Jo asked if I remembered her going to university? Of course I did. Jo then asked if I knew what she majored in. I could not say, of course, because I did not know. Jo said I had inspired her to take up Heating, Ventilation, & A/C engineering with web design as a minor. Jo told me I needed more than an ad on a social media platform to catch attention. Jo said people were friends on Facebook, however had no contact with them. Jo wanted to offer her knowledge in web design & Heating, Ventilation, & A/C, just because I was her crucial brother! Jo was almost ten years younger than me, although she was far smarter than I was, especially in growing our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C biz.
