In our personal opinion, I care about the central heating plus air conditioner method over any other Heating plus A/C equipment.
Now granted, I haven’t tried all forms of Heating plus A/C technology, so I can’t really say for sure, however I have lived with quite a few, plus none of them come even close to the central heating plus cooling unit.
The first Heating plus A/C experience I had was when I was in an apartment. The cabin had window a/c. While the window air conditioner itself was fine, the fact that it could only cool 1 room was genuinely discouraging, however every time it was hot, I was limited to that 1 room only if I wanted to stay cool. The minute experience I had was with a portable a/c, which was mostly the same as the window Heating plus A/C, except with the bonus of being portable. Then I had experience with radiant heated flooring, plus as good as they were technology wise, they were hard to repair once they started having issues. Last, I had experience with a heat pump, which in our opinion didn’t heat plus cool nearly as efficiently as the central a/c unit. This is why I care about the central Heating plus A/C component over any of the other systems plus in our next lake cabin I will definitely have a central air conditioner unit. I guess some people may disagree with me, plus maybe I will find another method that I care about better, but for now, I guess what I want when it comes to our Heating plus A/C technology.
