In our personal opinion, I care about the central heating plus a/c system over any other HVAC equipment. Now granted, I haven’t tried all forms of HVAC technology, so I can’t entirely say for sure, however I have lived with quite a few, plus none of them come even close to the central heating plus cooling unit. The first HVAC experience I had was when I was in an apartment. The house had window air conditioning. While the window a/c itself was fine, the fact that it could only cool 1 room was easily discouraging! Every time it was hot, I was limited to that 1 room only if I wanted to stay cool. The hour experience I had was with a portable air conditioner, which was mostly the same as the window HVAC, except with the bonus of being portable. Then I had experience with radiant heated flooring, plus as good as they were technology wise, they were difficult to repair once they started having complications. Last, I had experience with a heat pump, which in our opinion didn’t heat plus cool nearly as efficiently as the central air conditioning unit. This is why I care about the central HVAC component over any of the other systems plus in our next home I will honestly have a central a/c unit. I know some people may disagree with me, plus maybe I will find another system that I appreciate better, however for now, I know what I want when it comes to our HVAC technology.
