My mother wanted to have her own home, although she didn’t want to transport away from her youngsters, and when daddy passed on, she moved from one of our homes to another, then eventually, she tired of being passed around plus told me she wanted her own home, plus some privacy; She saw an ad for affordable tiny homes plus asked what I thought of the idea! I had seen televisions shows about tiny homes, plus I knew that if our fiance died, I would ecstaticly live in one! They were compact, but you had all the amenities of a giant home.
She asked if I thought our fiance would mind if she parked it in our backyard.
I had to smile because our fiance adored mom; She thought of her as a real Dad plus not just a mother-in-law. She once told me she married me because it was the only way for him to get our parents as his. I told her she would ecstaticly let her park her tiny house in our backyard! Once both of us found an affordable tiny house for her, Dad started calling our sisters plus sibling plus telling them if they wanted to visit, she would be living in our backyard. I asked why she didn’t mention the tiny house she obtained, plus she said they would need to visit to figure it out, and although I found it funny that she thought that way, I couldn’t let her not tell them about the affordable tiny house she obtained. I told her they would suppose I put a tent up plus forced her to live there. She disagreed, although I saw the merriment in her eyes that the thought gave her.
