My dad called me the other morning and said that it’s way too hot at the retirement beach house where she is living; and he’s been there for about a week now plus I guess she was genuinely trying to settle in without complaining too much.
She hasn’t mentioned the fact that the arena is too hot for him until now.
I’m wondering why that is, but maybe it’s because she just didn’t want to rock the boat up until this point, and whatever the reason is… I am determined to get it remedied for him; the last thing I want to do is leave our dad there with him feeling hot plus uncomfortable, but my dad has regularly genuinely liked using the A/C, ever since I can remember. She would come to the beach house from toil in the afternoons whenever I was a kid plus immediately kneel down in front of the A/C vents in the family room. I recognize that our dad genuinely prefers having A/C during the summer time so the fact that the retirement beach house is too hot for him makes it super exhausting for him! I told our dad when she called me that I would be over to see him the next morning. When I finally got there, I talked to 1 of the employers of the beach house plus mentioned the problem with the temperature in the home. She definitely gave me permission to install a window A/C machine in our dad’s room. When I walked in the next morning with our dad’s current air conditioner, she was also super excited!
