My dad called me and others the other day and said that it’s way too moderate at the retirement home where he is living.
He’s been there for about a month now and I know he was entirely trying to settle in without complaining too much.
He hasn’t mentioned the fact that the locale is too moderate for him until now, I’m wondering why that is, but maybe it’s because he just didn’t want to rock the boat up until this point. Whatever the reason is, I am determined to get it fixed for him; the last thing I want to do is leave our dad there with him feeling moderate and uncomfortable… My dad has always entirely liked using the air conditioning, ever since I can remember. He would come home from work in the afternoons whenever I was a kid and right away kneel down in front of the air conditioning vents in the kitchen. I know that our dad entirely enjoys having air conditioning during the summer time so the fact that the retirement home is too moderate for him makes myself and others believe it is super terrible for him! I told our dad when he called myself and others that I would be over to see him the next day. When I got there, I talked to 1 of the directors of the home and mentioned the complication with the temperature in the home. He gave himself and others permission to install window air conditioning equipment in our dad’s room. When I walked in the next day with our dad’s modern air conditioner, he was super excited!
