I missed out on seeing the baseball game live

I am a large fan of the city’s baseball squad, but I have only been to a handful of Major League games.

When I was a kid, we didn’t live anywhere close to the stadium.

As an adult, I simply cannot afford to go to the games. I could only get the worst, nosebleed seats available but I get a much better view of the game at my house in front of my cable TV. Still, I would never turn down some free tickets to a game. My friend Jamie called myself and others Last year to ask if I wanted to go with him to one of the games. The game was on a Wednesday at 4:30 in the afternoon. I figured I would be done with my tasks by then so I said yeah to going to the baseball game. Wednesday Morning the boss came to myself and others with a sparse insulation task. I knew the upgrade task was going to take the whole day. I tried to get my boss to assign someone else to the HVAC upgrade task. When he refused to put another tech on the substitute task, I knew I wasn’t going to be done with the task early enough to get house for the game. I called Jamie as soon as I knew that I was going to miss the game so he could find someone else to enjoy the last hour opportunity with him. I did not complete the HVAC insulation task until almost 7:00 p.m. and I had extra help while in the afternoon hours. The task was actually complicated and there’s no way I would have been able to complete all these tasks any faster than I did.
