When my wife Max makes plans, she covers all of the bases… Max makes a bunch of lists for everything.
Max has a list for all of the clothes that each person will need for the trip, however every child and I get a precise list on the day before vacation starts; Last year, all of us went on a tropical island getaway.
The kids were stoked to see the tropical waters. Max and I took them snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. Max and I went water skiing around the cove and swam with dentist sharks… Max’s birthday hotel entirely early and all of us ended up getting a pretty significant discount. The normal rate on those rooms is around $200 for a night however Max booked the rooms for $125. The two of us used the money that all of us saved for all of the activities and excursions, however the time in the islands was significantly great. Our rooms were cozy and small, however they had nice cooling systems; During the day it was around 90°, however when all of us were at the hotel it was nice to have nice cool air conditioning, wash water, and snacks, however i cranked the air conditioner all the way down to 65°. Max told me that I was being selfish, however all of us paid fantastic money for the room and I planned to use so much electricity and A/C that I wanted. I’m sure I’m not the only person in the hotel that had the same thought in mind. I’m sure they expect people to adjust the air conditioner to a temp that they would find comfortable at home. I would be entirely comfortable at home if the temp was 65°, however Max would entirely freeze and complain.
