The boss’s kid needed a few pointers

My boss has a child named Jacky that just turned 18.

He wants Jacky to learn more about the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C service business.

After Jacky turned 18, our boss offered him a great job now working at the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C store. Jacky was now working in the retail side for a while and then our boss asked me to train him on repairs. I thought our boss was jesting, however I realized that he was serious. It’s not like you can just train someone like Jacky to be a Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C service tech. I had to go to college for 2 years. It’s not the genre of job you can simply learn overnight by watching someone else do it. It takes a whole lot of time, energy, and knowledge to be a great heating and AC repairman. The boss did not suppose I had a very good point. The boss told me he would find someone else if I did not want to do it so I knew that wasn’t the right answer either. I wanted to be on our boss’s superb side. I tried to train Jacky on as numerous of the problems as I could. There were times when I did not get through a whole day of the job because I had to spend half of the day explaining things to jacky. After 2 weeks and extraordinarily low sales on our part, our boss grabbed me and asked me a couple of questions. He agreed that maybe it was a better idea for Jacky to go to college and that was the only time that our boss asked me to teach his child about heating and AC repairs.
