The house on first street was ruined by sketchy tenants

My wife Max and I have been married for 3 years.

Both of us were married previously and had a house of our own.

When we got married, Max and I decided to buy a very unusual house where the 2 of us could start a life together. Instead of selling the properties, we decided to rent them out for a while. The housing market for rentals was low at that time and it seemed to make more sense to rent the properties and keep them active in our portfolio. Max and I found a house that we wanted to buy with a pool and a large backyard. Max and I had the only view of the Woods and no neighbors located behind our home. This location was a little more fancy than the 2 of us wanted to pay, but we had the added income from the rental properties to help pay the mortgage. I rented my house to a couple of older guys that were in a long-term relationship. I knew that these 2 guys would take fantastic care of the house. I helped Max when she found tenants for her location even though she said that she had it covered. One of the girls that Max works with was looking for a location to rent. She didn’t even make the lady spend my money on a security deposit, which turned out to be a bad decision. The woman completely destroyed my wife’s house. These guys trashed the carpets and the walls and they broke the brand current HVAC unit. The very current HVAC component was only installed just before the tenants took over. 2 years later, the AC components had to be substituted. Max and I had a ton of problems with the house on 1st street.
