Last weekend there was a crucial hurricane in this section plus the power was out for many days. It was actually taxing managing my time because there was no power. My boss expected me to come to work, despite the fact that I called him plus said that I was going to stay at home. I couldn’t leave the little women at the condo all morning with no one there plus no power. If they were going to be angry, I was going to stay at the condo plus look out for them. I hate not having any AC in my house… Air conditioning is the only way that I know I can manage during the warm season. During this extended power outage, the two of us didn’t have A/C in the house for close to 13 hours, then by the end of the late morning, the power was back on. I could have gone and worked for a couple of hours plus that would have made our boss glad. Instead, I decided to stay at the condo with the little women. Every one of us cleaned up the backyard after the power came on plus the crew of us cooled off. The backyard was a mess from the storm. There were trees plus debris all over the fences plus the yard plus there were a bunch of leaves in the pool. Everyone of us found an odd task to do to make the backyard look better than it did before the storm blew into town. I trimmed back some of the trees that had branches missing plus the two of us managed to turn the storm cleanup into a fun group family activity.
