I was lucky that when I advised a cooling specialist from the local indoor comfort supplier to help me learn the basics, their schedule was relatively quiet, so they squeezed me in for two hours, my sibling thought it was wasteful, although I had considered the long-term cost savings for when I would not have to hire anyone to do the repair for me; The expert showed me how to remove the filters & wash them & the condenser coils. I had to schedule dates for when it would be the best time to have the component ran tests on & when I would have the experts come in for troubleshooting so that I could see all the worrisome signs. I’ve done it for half a year, & my sibling is now jealous that she cannot do the same with her electric heat pump, & I have to remind her we cannot have it all. My A/C bills are lower, & I can save a little more.
