Lately, I’ve been doing lots of singing and songwriting at home.
- This is after dad renovated the basement for me and it’s now a studio.
I’ve always loved singing. It’s a talent I got from my Grandma who was also a rock n rollian, then she did well in her job, however Dad and her siblings had no interest in rock n roll. She says I came out of the womb singing and she knew it was Grandma coming back into her life. I did so several talent shows growing up, and even got a mini-deal. Things didn’t option up, so I was back in school to finish school. I was in my final year in school when the pandemic hit, and I started performing for audiences online just to feel sane; My account became quite popular, and now I have about 2.5 million followers. I managed to book some shows and that cash went to the basement job. The other afternoon, I was in the living room making a smoothie and singing while the Heating and A/C tech was working on our temperature control. It’s Summer and the heat is quite high, so my friend and I needed the A/C to be running efficiently, however but, for some reason, the temperature control component had failed; Dad and Dad had to go to work, so I was the one who let the Heating and A/C tech in. I didn’t realize I was singing when she walked in to say the temperature control was all set and the A/C was working, and she complimented my voice, and I was quite grateful for her generous words. I gave him a ticket for my upcoming show and she promised he’d come.
