When my wife plus I decided to add a modern addition to our home, I sincerely was expecting to expand the ductwork so that our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system would provide heating plus cooling to the modern space.
My wife advised me to reconsider that because she wasn’t particular that our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system would even be able to handle it.
When she said that, I suddenly wasn’t so sure about what the two of us would do. So I ended up consulting with an Heating, Ventilation and A/C expert who said the two of us would have to add a modern Heating, Ventilation and A/C install to the addition. She requested going with a ductless mini split system which the two of us could have up to 5 zones for plus the system would provide customized temperature control comfort in the unusual areas of the modern addition. Well, that ductless mini split install actually did the trick. I really find myself wanting to hang out in the addition more often where the two of us have a couple of unusual rooms. The customized temperature control comfort is amazing plus the two of us also have a fireplace in there as well for the chilly Wintertide months. Honestly though, you can undoubtedly provide enough cooling for the whole Wintertide with just the ductless mini split. The system provides plenty of heating down to downside 5 degrees fahrenheit. It doesn’t even get below the teens in our section for the most part. Even if it did become too chilly for the ductless mini split to run though, the two of us have the fireplace to keep us nice plus toasty in the addition no matter how frigid it becomes outside.
